Only four blocks in popular estate will go to auction this weekend
Want to secure a block of land in a boutique estate in Goonellabah? Then you better get in quick as interest in this housing estate was hot.
Four blocks in the much sought after Eastwood Living residential estate in Goonellabah will go to online auction on Saturday, and the selling agent says there has been “huge interest” so far.
The McCloy Group began releasing blocks in January from Stage 4 of the 136-lot estate located on 21ha off Invercauld Rd.
Selling agent, Clint McCarthy from LJ Hooker said the auction of the four blocks was brought forward a few weeks due to intense interest.
Mr McCarthy said the blocks on sale offered a broad range for buyers, sized from 545 sqm to 1134 sqm, and were all on flat ground.
Of the 24 blocks in Stage 4, only 11 remain unsold.
The developer said it placed a “strong emphasis on creating exceptional living environments with vibrant public art and aesthetically serene streetscapes”.
“We build children’s playgrounds, cycleways, plant mature street trees and place a strong emphasis on recreational areas. Public art is a key element of the cultural foundation of a community and have been developed at suburb entry points,” the estate’s website says.
Services such as water, sewer, power and high-speed internet via the NBN network are provided to each block.
The online auction starts at 2pm, Saturday, June 19.
Interested buyers must register on the bidding platform Open Negotiation two days prior to auction to allow bidders to be vetted.
Mr McCarthy said he will be onsite on Saturday from 12-1pm for inspection of the blocks.
