This weekend the McCloy Group have released our latest community, Hereford Hill in Lochinvar. The initial release on Saturday 24th October offered 19 homesites to the market and saw the entire stage sold opening weekend!

Fondly named Hereford Hill after the site’s history as a Hereford cattle farm and a resonation with the former farmers, you’ll find the new community located off the New England Highway in Lochinvar, near Airds of Lochinvar. Hereford Hill spans 25 hectares and when complete will bring around 280 new homesites to the market across several stages. Whilst Stage 2 was released to the public, Stage 1 homesites have been designed into a new Display Village with over 30 homes to be showcased by leading home builders.

Stage 2, the Tillage Release is priced from $174,000 to $214,000 and offered homesites between 484m2 and 638m2. The McCloy Group experienced keen interest from buyers for several weeks in the lead up to the launch, with prospective buyers eager to secure their piece of the community from the outset, some so much so they decide to camp the night to ensure their place.

“We are pleased to welcome many local families and received good feedback about the quality of the development and future plans for a children’s park and playground” Sam Rowe, Project Director commented.

The McCloy Group are known for their communities across the Hunter Region, with the likes of the highly accoladed Heritage Parc Maitland, The Bower Medowie and Billy’s Lookout in Lake Macquarie to their name.

“As Hereford Hill is an off the plan sale, purchasers were encouraging to take a tour of our other communities in the Hunter to get a gauge of the level of quality to expect here at Hereford Hill. This is a premium offering in the Lochinvar area, so we did expect demand to be strong” added Mr Rowe.

As for inspiration for future homes, it will be in spades at Hereford Hill with over 15 builders joining the Display Village, including the likes of McDonald Jones Homes, Clarendon Homes, Metricon and GJ Gardner to name but a few.

“We identified the site for its position on the New England Highway and its strategic location as the gateway to the Lochinvar Urban Release Area. It provided a promising opportunity for builder and we look forward to partnering with the them in the Display Village. We’re sure those in the new build market will be impressed with the Displays to come.” Mr Rowe continued.

True to the McCloy name in the Hunter, their team seek to make communities that they themselves would be proud to call home. Future residents can look forward to the hallmarks of McCloy Communities at Hereford Hill including mature street trees, children’s facilities, wider community support and the striking bronze bull sculpture incorporated into the entry feature.
