BRUSH CREEK, EDGEWORTH

Brush Creek was a joint venture with the Fisher family to produce a boutique residential living opportunity in Lake Macquarie, with highly anticipated residential land for sale near Newcastle NSW. First launched in 2018 the 21 hectare parcel of pristine land is situated in the suburban area of Edgeworth and offers 238 homesites ideally suited for all stages of life. Future residents can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, nearby the lively café precinct at Warners Bay, as well as having Newcastle beaches and CBD within an easy half hour drive. Brush Creek was suitably named after the creek which flows through the land and is a tribute to the floral emblem of Lake Macquarie, the bottlebrush.

Proving popular with the local market, Brush Creek complete its final stages of development, with the community sold out in early 2024.

THE BOWER, MEDOWIE

The Bower is a 127 hectare residential community which launched in 2016. Located off Medowie Road in Medowie, the site is on the western side of the Medowie township adjoining a small acreage subdivision and the Medowie State Conservation Area. The estate offered 406 homesites ranging in size from 500 to over 5000 square meters across 57 hectares. As a compliment to the beautiful forestry which encompasses The Bower, 70 hectares will be preserved as State Conservation Area and open space.

A key focus was to develop a community that is sympathetic to the surrounding area and complement the Medowie lifestyle. In 2020 The Bower also welcomed the launch of Principle Living’s Retirement Living, Blueheath, a 110 villa community within The Bower.

IRONBARK RIDGE, MUSWELLBROOK

Ironbark Ridge is the only fully serviced rural residential community in Muswellbrook. The popularity of the community is due to the mix of features on offer. The spacious acreage homesites come with fully serviced underground power and sewer whilst the large blocks feature wide frontages and elevated northerly aspect. Ironbark Ridge is also just minutes from Muswellbrook’s shops, schools, parklands, and other town conveniences..

Potter’s Lane is a boutique 23-hectare residential community located off Rees James Road in Raymond Terrace. This project was a Joint Venture with the Moxey Family and was first released in 2016. The charming new neighbourhood offered 231 homesites ranging in size from approximately 500 square meters to over 1200 square meters and offered a lifestyle close to numerous work opportunities with Newcastle CBD and beaches just 25 minutes away.

The estate’s name honours the areas rich history as the first settler, James King, sought his fortunes in the beautiful pottery that he produced. After 5 years of development the project was complete in November 2021. HERITAGE PARC, MAITLAND

Heritage Parc is a unique residential land estate in Maitland, established in 2013 and offered buyers flat easy-to-build-on land, generous block sizes and more value for money. Using this title, the McCloy Group was able to create a unique community enclave which featured several community parks. The subdivision also incorporates half court basketball courts, playground equipment, walking paths and barbeque areas. The Estate proved to be a resounding success for the company.

Foreshore Apartments Newcastle NSW

FORESHORE PARK APARTMENTS, NEWCASTLE EAST

In a joint venture with two other partners, McCloy Group developed Foreshore Park Apartments – a 16 unit apartment building in the trendy East End of Newcastle. The basement plus three level building was carefully designed to produce a modern building that is appropriate to the heritage setting of the East End.

Sail Point Lake Macquarie NSW

SAIL POINT APARTMENTS, BELMONT

As part of a joint venture the McCloy Group constructed the Sail Point Apartments which is a twenty six unit development situated on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Belmont.

Carefully designed to take full advantage of the lake views despite the westerly aspect, Sail Point Apartment pioneered the re-development of lakeside Belmont, and re-sales since completion in 1999 have demonstrated strong capital growth.

Burwood Beach Residential Estate Past Project NSW

BURWOOD BEACH ESTATE, DUDLEY

Burwood Beach Estate was a brownfields site purchased from BHP in the mid 90’s. It was formerly operated as Burwood Colliery. This project involved remediation of the land, rezoning to residential, subdivision and civil constructions in order to sell off the individual homesites. The completed product was a 60 lot subdivision complete with park and playground near Dudley Beach.

Silveridge Aerial Land Newcastle Lake Macquarie

SILVER RIDGE ESTATE, WALLSEND

Silver Ridge Estate is a 400-lot residential subdivision in Wallsend near Jesmond shopping centre. Development and sales were undertaken during the 90’s and completed in 2000. The site is cushioned between Wallsend Brickworks Park and Invermore Nature Reserve in Wallsend offering residents a wide range of natural space and leisure activities.

Past Project Ocean Ridge NSW

OCEAN RIDGE ESTATE, CAVES BEACH

Ocean Ridge Estate was purchased from another developer in the late 90’s. McCloy Group developed and sold the last 80 lots as about 220 lots had already been developed by the previous owner.

The site is adjacent to Swansea High School and is just minutes to Caves Beach.

Orchid Grove Past Project Hunter Region NSW

ORCHID GROVE, MOUNT HUTTON

This boutique development of just 23 lots is located in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Mt Hutton. Its name is reflective of the previous use of the land which was originally an orchid farm.

The subdivision is planted with mature street trees and the lots have valley views over a rural setting. The McCloy Group constructed quality ‘desert stone’ finish retaining walls per lot, ensuring slab-able house construction and enhanced visual appeal.
