The Telstra Civic is a 6 storey landmark building in the heart of Newcastle’s business and Civic precinct. It’s highly visible location is close to all the conveniences of Darby Street, Honeysuckle, the Civic precinct and the new Justice precinct with the added benefit of multi-level secure parking with direct access to level 2, located at the rear of the building.
In 2017 the building will see upgrades to the entrance foyer and lift lobbies, there will be the addition of End of Trip facilities as well a public art to further enhance the ambiance of the Telstra Civic. The ground floor will see an overhaul to the layout to include potential boutique stores as well as area for commercial and hospitality ventures. The HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) services and lighting systems will also see great improvements to be better aligned with environmental best practices, in turn reducing emissions and energy costs.
